The Servant is an enemy encountered relatively late in the game.
Overview[]
The Servant used to be one of the ship's crew, but abandoning and betraying them during the accident has brought him to an interesting state in the afterlife. Doomed to forever lurk at doorways, and listen to all everything happening on the ship, he has a large lock-like mask with only a single keyhole for sight. This is shown when the player interacts with the man banging a pot on the floor, where the player first encounters a servant. He has also been given all the keys to the ship.
Appearance[]
His appearance in the Afterlife is one befitting his name - he now has metal shoulder straps, a steel collar and mask with ear-holes as well as an iron body frame.
Due to the fact that he has spent so much time eavesdropping at doors, the knees of his trousers and his socks have worn out, and are now covered by iron caps. This gives him an odd walking gait, and the iron toe tips and keys means that he can be heard approaching. He attacks by swinging his keys at enemies, but he is slow to swing, allowing a quick foe to duck under his attack, and counter. They also stagger under rifle shots, clearly not used to the force of a rifle.
Trivia[]
- Usually needs multiple rifle shots to be killed, except during one flashback when the player faces several waves of servants, who all die from a single shot.
